Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe & Transfer to Kibale National Park

Arrive at Entebbe Airport in the early morning and meet your guide. After a refreshing breakfast, start your journey to Kibale National Park, renowned for its rich biodiversity. Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, a town known for its lush landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing amidst nature or exploring the area.

Day 2 – Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, embark on a thrilling chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale’s tropical rainforest, home to one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Africa. After an exhilarating morning, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where the savannah meets the jungle. In the evening, settle in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing night with views of the surrounding wildlife. Options: Irungu Lodge, Bush Lodge, or Buffalo Lodge (FB),

Day 3 – Game Drive & Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

Begin your day with a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll have the chance to see lions, elephants, buffalo, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. Return to your lodge for the evening to unwind after an action-packed day.

Day 4 – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through Ishasha Sector

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions, as you head towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure the following day.

Day 5 -Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Today is the highlight of your Ugandan adventure—gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Hike through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers, to find a family of mountain gorillas. Spend a magical hour observing these magnificent creatures before heading to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most beautiful lakes. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the water.

Day 6: Return to Entebbe -Stop over to Equator

After a relaxing morning by Lake Bunyonyi, you’ll drive back to Entebbe. Stop at the equator for lunch and a chance to take photos and explore the local craft shops. Once in Entebbe, check into your hotel for the night and prepare for the next phase of your journey to Tanzania.

Day 7 – Flight to Kilimanjaro Airport & Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Fly from Entebbe to Nairobi, then take a connecting flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) in Arusha, Tanzania. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. Spend the afternoon on a game drive before retiring to Whistling Thorn Camp, Boundary Lodge, or Tarangire Safari Lodge (FB) for the night.

Day 8 -Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Descend into the crater for a full day of game drives, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. After an unforgettable day, spend the night at Octagon Lodge, Simba Lodge, or Serena Lodge (FB).

Day 9 -Serengeti National Park Game Drives

Today, head to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s iconic national park known for its vast plains and abundant wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you can spot lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and more. Spend the night at Nyikani Camp or Seronera Wildlife Lodge (FB), surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 10 -Breakfast & Transfer to the Airport for Departure

After breakfast, enjoy your last moments in the Serengeti before checking out and heading towards the Airport. This day of your journey, marks the end of your incredible 10-day safari adventure in both Uganda and Tanzania.
